I had a mixed experience with Jelks Veteran Services. Mrs. Jelks is clearly dedicated and effective at networking to achieve results. However, while she does her job competently, her approach to professionalism and client interaction might not suit everyone. I found that she can take inquiries and disagreements personally, which in my case, resulted in her discontinuing support during an ongoing claim.

Andrea was super knowledgable with all the intricacies of the VA. I was at a dead end on my claims and she took over and got me over that final hump to my current deserved rating!! She is incredibly diligent in her work kept me updated all the time as to what was going on with the claims. I sent several friends her way and I highly recommend her if you need help.

Every Veteran who has dealt with the VA knows how much of a pain they are to deal with. If you’re not waiting on them somewhere in the process, you’re wondering why the injuries you received in the service are not service connected. Well, Andrea doesn’t put up with that. Day and night she continuously checked up on my claim status and was there for me 24/7 for any questions I had about anything during the process. She fought tooth and nail for every claim she helped me with, and is still continuing to do so. She talked me through each step of the filing process, and ensured me I’d be alright. I couldn’t imagine going to someone who wouldn’t take my claim seriously or someone that clocks out at 5:00PM and doesn’t answer texts or calls. That’s not Andrea in the slightest. I recommended some of my fellow veterans to her and will continue to do so, assuring them that they’re in the right hands.
